St. Paul Police: Stray Bullets Just Missed Mother Nursing Her Infant

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- St. Paul police say stray bullets almost struck a mother nursing her infant Monday evening in the Western Hazel Park neighborhood.

It happened at about 9:45 p.m. near the area of Seventh Street East and Kennard Street North. Multiple neighbors reported property damage from bullets.

The mother says bullets flew into the room while she was breastfeeding her 4-month-old baby. Her 10-year child was also in the room. No one was hurt.

Police are still investigating.
