MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A semi-truck collided with a light rail train early Monday evening in St. Paul.

Metro Transit officials say the semi took an illegal turn from Raymond Avenue onto University Avenue, and then struck an eastbound METRO Green Line train just before 6 p.m. No one was hurt.
Trains were unable to run between the Raymond and Westgate stations for about 30 minutes in the crash’s aftermath. That stretch was reopened at about 6:30 p.m.
