35W Construction South Of Downtown Minneapolis To Wrap In Early September

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The end is in sight for a massive construction project on 35W.

Crews have spent nearly four years working on the highway between the crosstown and downtown Minneapolis.

The project includes new MnPASS lanes, a new bus station, some new exit ramps and other upgrades.

Work was always supposed to wrap up this fall, but now MnDOT says the official date of completion will be Sept. 10.
