Police Investigate Woman's Apparent Shooting Death In Austin

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman's body was found early Saturday morning in Austin, police say.

Officers were called to a residents on the 100 block of 10th Street Northwest at about 2 a.m.

There, they found one person shot. EMS workers provided aid and she was transported to Mayo Clinic in Austin, where she died.

Her identity was not released. Police are still investigating but say they don't think it was a random incident.
