Millennials Expect To Retire At 59; Boomers Not 'Til They're 68

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- What age do you expect to finally be able to clock out from the 9-to-5 for good? Your answer may depend on how old you are right now.

A recent survey from Natixis Investment Managers, 62 is the average age Americans want to retire. But that varies by generation.

Millennials say they want to call it quits at age 59. Gen X'ers say 60 is the goal. And Baby Boomers plan to keep going until their 68th birthday.
