Man, 34, Charged In Crash That Killed Sandstone TeenA 34-year-old man accused of drunken driving likely will be charged with criminal vehicular homicide in the death of a Sandstone teenager. Seventeen-year-old Colton Nelson was killed last week in a two-car accident near his home in rural Kanabec County. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police say a truck driven by 34-year-old Charles Hendricks crashed into a car Monday night in rural Sandstone. Hendricks is in fair condition at North Memorial Hospital.
