'U' Rowing Team Rescues Woman From Miss. RiverMembers of the University of Minnesota women's rowing team rescued a woman from the Mississippi River Wednesday morning. Two boats of elite college rowers hit the Mississippi at around 7 a.m. Head Coach Wendy Davis was following in a motorized boat when she saw the women near the Lake Street Bridge.
