Colorful Cocktails

Greet your guests as they arrive with a colorful cocktail inspired by the teams that are playing on the big day. Get creative with colors and ingredients — this will allow your guests to cheer on their favorite team in a fun way.

Hometown Treats From The Team's State

Incorporate food and snacks into your menu that is reminiscent of the team's state. For example, if the Packers are playing, consider a fun assortment of cheeses. If the Vikings are playing, think about a unique hot dish or Jell-O salad.

Show Your Spirit: From Face Painting To Photo Booth

Kids and adults alike can get excited about face paint — set up a station where guests can incorporate their favorite team and colors into a design on their face. Hang a backdrop nearby where guests can take group photos or selfies. A party supply store will have inexpensive plastic tablecloths that make easy backdrops — consider a football field pattern!

Pom-Poms And Pennants

Keep the kids busy during the game with a craft activity. Purchase supplies ahead of time that will allow the kids to make their own pom-poms and pennants. You will need felt, glue, streamers and markers.

Brew Break

Microbrews are trendy right now. Set-up a tasting station to allow your guests to sample popular brews from the home states of the opposing teams.

Football Bingo

Help keep your guests engaged in the action by creating a football bingo card that will let them focus on the big screen while having some competitive fun at the same time. Before kickoff, distribute a blank bingo card and ask guests to fill in items that they expect to happen during the game … a touchdown, a field goal, a Budweiser commercial, you get the idea. Have a prize for the first BINGO of the day.
