National surveys and reports frequently tout Minnesota as one of the healthiest and fittest states in the country. Selections include tai chi, Pilates and total-body suspension training classes. There are also a number of yoga classes, including gentle yoga and pre-natal yoga for expectant mothers.

These one-hour heated classes take students to their mats to stretch and strengthen their bodies. Core exercises are a big staple of this popular class but all major muscles will get a good workout.
