Best Golf Courses In The Twin Cities

Golf season may not be year-round in Minnesota but when it's on it's good. What's even better than the lush courses and tree-lined fairways is the surprise golfers feel when they realize most Twin Cities golf courses have a secluded, rural feeling. Here are some of the best golf courses in the area and you don't have to drive very far.

Saint Paul Parks and Recreation maintains this popular and newly renovated 18-hole golf course which offers challenging fairways and flourishing landscape. The most notable of the holes is the 15th which features a large "Snoopy" shaped bunker in honor of Charles Schultz who learned to play golf on this very course.

Brookview Golf Course presents a challenging 18-Hole Regulation Course and a 9-Hole Par 3. With 28 moderate bunkers, small greens and a number of water hazards, Bassett Creek makes an appearance at six holes. This course has good excuses for being called challenging.

Parkview Golf Course in Eagan is a public 18-hole golf course with newly heated driving range. Featuring the best of Minnesota's nature, the course has hills, trees, 18 bunkers, a lake and pond. Friday and Saturday nights bring "Golf Glow" to the course. The six-hole course is lit with glow sticks and the game is played with a blinking golf ball called the Tracer Glow Ball.
