The town of Two Harbors is located roughly 30 miles north of Duluth and a little more than three hours north of the Twin Cities.

The hotel is one of the most conveniently located in town, as it sits across the street from the Root River State Trail and the beautiful Root River itself. Visitors to the area usually enjoy riding bikes along the trail or kayaking down the river. Lanesboro is located about two hours south of the Twin Cities.

Consider sticking close to home this Labor Day with a trip to the Water Park of America. Located in Bloomington, Minn., the water park is less than a mile from the Mall of America and partners with a Radisson Hotel. The vacation resort offers water slides, raft rides, zero-depth pools, wave pools and plenty of other water features. Spend the day playing in the pool and relax in the evenings with a quick jaunt to the mall across the street.
