ST. CROIX FALLS, Wis. (AP) — Sheriff’s officials say one person has died in a collision between a school bus and vehicle in northwestern Wisconsin.

The accident happened in Polk County north of St. Croix Falls about 7 a.m. Friday.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the driver of vehicle was killed and the school bus driver suffered minor injuries. Polk County Sheriff Tim Moore says there were no students on the bus.

    I live in the area of this accident – could you please have a follow-up on the 6PM/10PM news today? I do not get local radio reception in this area and our weeklyt newspapers are already issued for the week. We depend on Twin Cities TV stations for OUR news too. Thanks

    Dont know what Wi says but MN says you swerve to the ditch not to the other side of the road…….the deer wouldnt of hurt the bus
