Snow Postpones 2 Minn. College Football Games, Others

MANKATO, Minn. (CBS/AP) -- The storm that dumped as much as 11 inches of snow in the Twin Cities area has prompted the postponement of many football games.

A message on Minnesota State-Mankato's website Saturday says the school's home game against Minnesota Duluth has been postponed. It says school officials and conference administrators are considering their options for rescheduling the game.

The game between Gustavus and Carleton College has been pushed back to Sunday at 1 p.m.

In addition, the Class AA and Class AAA quarterfinal football games scheduled to be played at Lakeville North and Farmington have been postponed until Monday, November 15.

Both games will be played at the Metrodome as follows:‬‪ ‬‪AA -- Triton vs. Maple Lake @ 4:00‬‪ p.m. & ‬‪AAA -- LeSueur-Henderson vs. De LaSalle @ 7:00‬ p.m.
