We have been on the cool side of average long enough. We will have a nice little warming trend over the next few days.
First, there is great news for anyone driving home this weekend after a wonderful Thanksgiving. The roads will be dry until Monday.
Expect a high near 32 degrees Saturday and a warm-up near 39 degrees on Sunday. Our flow at the surface will be coming from the south which allows the milder air to come our way.
One drawback to Sunday will be the wind. It will blow from the southeast at 10-20 mph, making it feel cooler than the high of 39.
Our next shot at precipitation arrives Monday. It will be mild enough to experience a rain and snow mix. We could see minimal accumulation. Enjoy the mild air as our highs slip back to the 20s by Tuesday.
