MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the sex assaults that happened near Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Police said the latest arrest happened overnight Saturday.
In all, two 14-year-olds, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested for three sexual assaults that happened Wednesday night in that area.
A mother, who was cross country skiing with her 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son, was robbed and sexually assaulted at gunpoint.
Shortly after, two other teen girls were sexually assaulted after being forced into a garage while walking down a nearby alley.
Three teens were arrested that night after police followed the footprints to the garage.
Minneapolis Police Sgt. Jesse Garcia says the four teens are the only ones involved. He said they are not looking for any other suspects.
