Minn. Inmate Dies Of Self-Inflicted Wounds
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) -- The death of a Stearns County Jail inmate appears to be suicide.
Chief Deputy Bruce Bechtold says 28-year-old Kyle Allan Baxter-Jensen died of apparently self-inflicted cuts.
Baxter-Jensen was found dead shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday. He was under observation because of concerns about previous incidents that the chief deputy would not comment on.
The St. Cloud Times reports Baxter-Jensen was booked into jail in November on a DWI charge. The sheriff's office is investigating.
