Die-Hard Deer Hunters Get Another Shot In Wis.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Die-hard deer hunters will get another shot at some venison this week as Wisconsin's antlerless hunt gets begins.

The hunt is set to run Thursday through Sunday. The state's traditional nine-day firearm season ended Nov. 28.

The state Department of Natural Resources is urging all outdoor lovers to wear blaze orange over the antlerless hunt. The agency is warning hunters to watch out for cross-country skiers and snowmobilers who might not realize another hunt is under way.
