      good call

Earlier someone made a great comment about the webpages for newstories, why the stock footage? It is a quiestion I’ve been asking myself as well, why the irrelevant photos? Was much happier with the WCCO website as it had a much more local feel.

    • Cindy

Ann, I agree – I hate this new website!

      • Marty

I agree also. What is up with this? It stinks! Yuk!

    • Patrick

Now that you mention it, I was also very unhappy with the new web site. Yuck, is right.

  • L.A.

I agree that this new website is awful. I’m moving to Kare 11 or MPR.

    • Starr

I agree, I rarely use this website anymore. I go to other sites for my news. The last website was much more user-friendly.

The big shots from New York, who couldn’t find the Twin Cities on a map are slowly but surely destroying the GOOD NEIGHBOR. It is a joke!

  • kk

I hate the new website too. Big shots came into where I work and hosed our website too. I suppose someone is saving money and some big shot is getting a bit richer.

  • Roblynn

I totally agree. The new website does not have that home town feel. My jello and hotdish are not tasting the same as I scroll through the happenings.

  • Ben

I agree the new site is terrible.

  • Ed

The new website is really bad. I also noticed that I can find more current/updated news stories on the other local websites for the other local networks. I used to come to WCCO first, but now WCCO is much lower on that list.
    WCCO, are you listening???

    • Bobbi

I have to agree, I also go to other places for my current news. I only check here out of loyalty to the people that work at WCCO TV.

  • Glen

I also agree, I don’t like this new web site. I thought I would stick with it for a while as change sometimes is good. I think it’s time to move on, this site does nothing for me anymore.

  • Really???

I didn’t expect to find WCCO’s website being bashed in this comment section, but I totally agree and just haven’t changed. Thanks L.A. for the suggestion of KARE 11. We don’t get that station here but the website is much more to my liking. Changing my default news page. Even this story sounds not so sensationalized on KARE 11.

  • picklepie

weeeee! yes, I agree this new WCCO site is not good, so at the suggestion of other comments I checked out KARE 11’s website and LOVED IT! I will be also changing my default to that site! Sorry WCCO – different and new and improved is NOT always better! (and all the spelling/typo’s/editting problems are really NOT professional for a news site) Bye Bye WCCO…

  • Eric

I hate to interrupt the “I hate the new website” discussion, but it is really a shame to hear of these deaths. Our prayers go out to the families.
