Snowmobiles Break Through Ice On Lake Bemidji

BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have rescued four people whose snowmobiles went through the ice on Lake Bemidji in northern Minnesota.

Three snowmobiles broke through the ice while crossing the east side of the lake Sunday evening.

The Beltrami County sheriff’s office says four people were rescued.

The Pioneer reports there were no serious injuries.

    wow, i am from bemidji and this isnt good,,,, every winter you do here of someone trying to cross the open water where the mississippi river meets with lake bemidji, and usually 1 of those dumba$$ get wet…lol
