Minn. Woman Killed In Tour Bus Crash In Egypt

LAKE ELMO, Minn. (AP) — A Minnesota woman is among eight Americans killed in a tour bus crash in southern Egypt.

Family members say Karen St. John of Lake Elmo was on the bus that crashed into a dump truck parked along a desert road near the Sudanese border on Dec. 26. St. John’s sister, Cheryl Hecker of Green Bay, Wis., says she was an adventurer and loved to travel.

The 61-year-old physical therapist was born in Milwaukee and earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
