Kline, Paulsen Visit Minn. Elementary Schools

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Two Republican members of Congress from Minnesota are visiting elementary schools in their districts on Friday.

Rep. John Kline brings a high-profile guest -- Education Secretary Arne Duncan -- to Crystal Lake Elementary in Lakeville.

Kline, the new chairman of the House Education and Workforce Committee, is serving his fifth term. He represents Minnesota's 2nd District, including southern Twin Cities suburbs and part of southern Minnesota.

Meanwhile, Rep. Erik Paulsen tours two schools in Brooklyn Park.

Paulsen will read a children's book about the legislative process to second-graders at Fair Oaks Elementary and talk about lawmaking with fifth graders at Park Brook Elementary.

Paulsen is serving his second term in Minnesota's 3rd District, covering the western suburbs.
