Minn. St., Mankato Beats St. Cloud St. 6-2

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) -- Michael Dorr had two goals as Minnesota State-Mankato snapped St. Cloud State's seven-game unbeaten streak with a 6-2 win over the Huskies on Saturday.

Rylan Galiardi and Andrew Sackrison had a goal and assist each and Kurt Davis, Adam Mueller and Eriah Hayes had two assists each.

The Mavericks had 37 shots on goal to 31 by the Huskies.

The Mavericks (11-11-6, 5-11-4) led 1-0 after one period but scored three times in the second to take charge. Dorr and Chase Grant scored twice in 42 seconds early in the period, and Joe Schiller scored short-handed at 10:58.

The Huskies (11-12-3, 7-9-2) got on the board on Aaron Marvin's fifth goal of the season early in the third. Cam Reid added a power-play goal less than two minutes later to cut the deficit to 4-2.

Phil Cook had 29 saves for Minnesota State-Mankato, while Mike Lee and Dan Dunn combined for 31 stops.

The teams skated to a 3-3 tie on Friday.
