CIRCLE PINES, Minn. (AP) — Authorities suspect murder-suicide in the deaths of a former couple whose bodies were found in a Circle Pines town house.
Police found the bodies of a 36-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman at the home on Wednesday. A co-worker of the woman had called and said she had not shown up for work.
Authorities say the couple had been living at the town home but the woman had moved out. Anoka County sheriff’s spokesman Paul Sommer tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press that investigators were told the woman recently returned to collect money she was owed.
Authorities plan to release the cause of death and the names of the two people at a news conference Friday.
