DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Registration opens Monday for the 21st annual Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon in northeast Minnesota.
The Bjorklund Half Marathon is Saturday, June 18, and is run on the second half of the Grandma’s Marathon course.
Through Feb. 25, registration for the half marathon will be available at GrandmasMarathon.com. A lottery will randomly select 5,700 participants for the half marathon.
The entry fee for the half marathon is $75, plus a processing charge.
The field for the 35th Grandma’s Marathon is more than half full. So far 5,000 marathoners have signed up for the June 18 race. Registration is limited to the first 10,000 runners.
