MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota honors head wrestling coach J Robinson’s 25 years of service Sunday when the Gophers host Iowa.

The two-time National Coach of the Year has guided Minnesota to three national championships including the school’s first-ever NCAA title in 2001. Robinson has also coached 12 individual NCAA champions, as well as 42 Gophers to individual Big Ten titles. He’s been named the conference coach of the year a record seven times.

The University of Minnesota will honor Robinson throughout the Minnesota/Iowa dual, which is one of the most anticipated events of the year in college wrestling, pitting two of the top teams in the country against each other.

Minnesota is 15-3-1 overall and 6-0-1 in the Big Ten, while Iowa is14-0-1 overall and 7-0 in the conference.
