ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar is traveling across southern Minnesota on Saturday, with stops in Rochester, Austin and Fairmont.
The Minnesota Democrat is visiting different parts of the state to highlight her legislative efforts to spur job creation and economic growth. Klobuchar is serving her first term and faces re-election next year.
Her schedule brings her to industrial and food manufacturers in Rochester, Harmony, Albert Lea and Fairmont. She also has meetings with the mayors of Austin and St. James.
Klobuchar serves on the Senate Commerce Committee and heads a subcommittee focused on innovation and exports.
