MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minneapolis FBI is searching for a man they believe robbed the TCF Bank branch at 3899 Silver Lake Road in St. Anthony.

According to a police report, the man entered the bank lobby, displayed a handgun and ordered employees to lie down on the floor. He then went up to a teller and demanded all her money. After providing the robber with an undisclosed amount of money, he ordered her to lie down on the floor and fled the bank on foot.

The robber is described as an Asian man, about 5-foot-7 tall, wearing all black clothing and a black mask. The robber is believed to be the same robber involved in the TCF Bank robbery in St. Paul, which occurred on Tuesday. He’s also believed to be involved in the robbery in West St. Paul on Jan. 3.

Anyone with information regarding this bank robbery is asked to contact the Minneapolis FBI Office at (612) 376-3200, the St. Anthony Police Department at (612) 789-5015 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
