Man Accused Of 2 Robberies Arrested In Mounds View

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 31-year-old man has been arrested, accused of two robberies — one in Blaine and one in Mounds View.

Dennis Cortez Siggers, of Mounds View, was arrested Friday near his residence. Police say he robbed the TCF Bank, 331 County Road 10 NE in Blaine and the SuperAmerica, 2640 County Road I in Mounds View on March 4.

In the TCF Bank robbery, police say the robber had written a demand note claiming he had a gun, though none was displayed. He was tracked to a nearby parking lot where police believed he left in a vehicle.

A second robbery occurred at the SuperAmerica gas station, where the robber’s description matched that of the TCF Bank robbery.

Siggers is currently being held in Anoka County Jail.

  • married to the truth

This guy goes to jail for physicaly taking money, yet wall street does it day in and day out with no issue. Hmmmmm

  • Sam I am

Uhm, the difference is he threatens with a gun. I don’t believe Wall Street has held a gun to anyones head.

Dead on Sam — but I’d like to see both sides locked up. ;-)

I live in Moundsview. It used to be a nice quiet place, Now we plan on moving this fall, the place has gone so far down hill in just a couple years.
