Weather Blog: Spring Is Coming

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Saturday is the last full day of winter. And yet it will feel like spring throughout the day. We will have plenty of sunshine, especially early in the day with a high up near 50 degrees. The wind will pick up from the southeast blowing about 10-15 mph by afternoon.

Spring officially arrives at 6:21 p.m. Sunday. It will be a mild, breezy day with some spring rain showers.

Our next storm system arrives next Tuesday/Wednesday, and it may be cool enough for spring snow. Keep in mind: March is our second snowiest month of the year.
