Man Sentenced For Fatal Moped Hit-And-Run

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man who killed a moped rider in Edina, Minn. has been sentenced to more than three years in prison.

Christian Rogat, 41, pleaded guilty to four counts of criminal vehicular homicide. He will serve 3-and-a-half years in prison for hitting a man on a scooter in September 2010 and then fleeing the scene.

The man who was hit, Robert Kuntze, 53, was brought to Hennepin County Medical Center where he died.

Police said Rogat's blood alcohol content was 0.165 at the time, which is more than twice the legal limit.
