That is a dangerous intersection. I got hit last winter at the same exact spot, luckily just my arm got a little sore. But if I took one step further, my whole body would of been ran over. The driver kept going and I never found out who it was.

I will never ride in a taxi cab. My ex quit his salaried job to drive a taxi (a cash job) to avoid child support and taxes. He has been driving a taxi for few years now without a license due to a lack of payments. He also has a warrant out for his arrest because of all this, and his taxi company won’t do anything about it…they just let him continue to drive. Goes to show you can’t trust some of the money-hungry “big boys.” to follow the rules

The woman who was taken to the hospital died this afternoon. She and her friends were legally crossing their street – and the taxi driver stayed with them the whole time. My co-worker is good friends with the young woman. This isn’t about racism or jay-walking or cell phones…it’s about paying closer attention and human life.
