I’m all for wearing a helmet, but would a helmet have saved his life?
A helmet will not protect a person from a broken neck at speeds over thirty miles per hour.

Yes and no I say his chances would of been better with a helmet. I race 4 wheelers & have broke 4 helmets in the last 7 years I will never ride with out a helmet.

I looked for this story, just to talk about a helmet.

In July 2002 my brother died, without a helmet riding an ATV. Would it have saved his life? I don’t know. Would he have been the same? I’m not sure. I’ll never know. I can say this though I would have loved to have the chance to know.

My brother also was drinking while driving an ATV, obviously a deadly combination. I have tried to comment on any story where someone has not been wearing a helmet, and my intent is only to alert other riders to what your family feels when you are gone, and I absolutely mean no disrespect to the family.

To this family my sincere condolences, I know the pain you are feeling.
