St. Paul Police Investigate Shooting After Fight

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- An 18-year-old man is in serious, but stable condition after a shooting Saturday night in St. Paul.

St. Paul Police say the man was shot around 11 p.m. on the 400 block of Clinton Avenue. Police were dispatched to the scene on a report of a fight in progress and while en route, they received additional reports that shots had been fired.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his torso inside a home on Clinton Avenue. St. Paul Fire paramedics transported the man to Regions Hospital. His name is not being released at this time.

Police say there was a party at the home on Clinton, but are still investigating the incidents leading up to the shooting. However, investigators believe there were several fights that broke out during the party and the shooting occurred outside, as people were leaving.

No arrests have been made in this case.

Police encourage anyone with information to call (651) 266-5650.
