Uncontrolled Car Winds Up On Playground
DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- Police say a medical issue may have caused a woman to lose control of her car, sending it over a wall and onto a day care playground in Duluth.
Fortunately, there were no children on the playground at the time. Police spokesman Jim Hansen says the car driven by the 61-year-old woman went over a hill and a wall and onto the playground during the noon hour Monday.
Hansen tells the Duluth News Tribune no citations were issued.
