ROSEVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) – Police were called to the AMC movie theater at Rosedale Center after two people were pistol-whipped following a movie screening.

According to Roseville Police, the incident began with one of the two victims, a 21-year-old male who officers say was very intoxicated, began talking loudly during the movie.

After the movie finished at about 11:30 Thursday evening, the man left the theater with two women. The three were confronted by someone who showed a gun.

One of the two women ran away, and the suspect hit both the man and the other woman, who is 18 years old, with the gun.

There haven’t been any arrests in the case. Police did not release any information or descriptions of the suspect.

When you have thugs like this running around at family businesses, I think it’s time to put more police on the streets. Oh wait, can’t do that. Budget cuts to balance the budget so no more money to cities. They have to cut someplace.
Can’t go to Maplewood Bowl because of the Hmong gangs in THAT area. Now you have gangs doing this at Rosedale. Hey Republicans, great idea with the budget you have.
How about this? We average out what the percentage is for the average Minneaotan. Then wipe out the differant levels we have and everyone pays the same percentage no matter what you make. Include that on CEO’s bonuses AND profit sharing. We could balance the budget on just the CEO’s wages.

“The Naked Gun” was showing at the time and the police went in to watch the movie. They got free coffee and stuff like that, but were not pistol-whipped when they left the theatre.

Hey.. I work at Rosedale Mall.. And there where rumers going around in my work today about all the extra cops, and the cop tower in the parking lot.. So frankly, as short and lacking in detail this is… It sets my mind at rest a bit.. I was hearing some stuff that had me scared, especcialy cause cops chased someone into my work today… So I feel a lot better about going to work tomorrow.
