BURNSVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) — A 46-year-old former scoutmaster was convicted Tuesday of molesting a boy scout for two years, starting when the boy was 13 years old.

Peter Stibal, of Burnsville, was found guilty on four counts of criminal sexual conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, his troop frequently met at River Hills United Methodist Church.

Prosecutors say the assault of the boy happened between 2003 and 2005, while the boy was 13 to 15 years old.

Stibal is still facing charges of assaulting three other boy scouts who were between the ages of 11 and 14 during the alleged assaults. In addition, Stibal faces six counts of possessing child pornography.
