Weather Blog: This Feels Better

By Ron Trenda, WCCO-TV

Last Sunday and Monday we had highs in the chilly 40s.

Temperatures rebounded by the end of the week, hitting 70 in the Twin Cities on Friday. Coming after such a cool stretch, that 70 felt nice and warm, even though it was only slightly higher than our typical early May high temperature.

We could hit 70 again today, with just slightly cooler temperatures on Sunday.

A few scattered showers are possible Saturday afternoon, Saturday night and Sunday.

Unsettled weather is expected Monday through Wednesday, with occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms possible.

It finally looks and sounds like spring.
