By Ron Trenda, WCCO-TV

Last Sunday and Monday we had highs in the chilly 40s.

Temperatures rebounded by the end of the week, hitting 70 in the Twin Cities on Friday. Coming after such a cool stretch, that 70 felt nice and warm, even though it was only slightly higher than our typical early May high temperature.

We could hit 70 again today, with just slightly cooler temperatures on Sunday.

A few scattered showers are possible Saturday afternoon, Saturday night and Sunday.

Unsettled weather is expected Monday through Wednesday, with occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms possible.

It finally looks and sounds like spring.

You know, I really like your station, but when there is bad weather in the cities I hate your station and all af them. Do you realize that the only time you come on to make sure people are aware of the weather is when it is there in the cities? The heck with the rest of the state! If the cities is not in the line of fire, all we get is scrolling on the bottom of the tv. I missed a really good show tonight because you guys just had to be on for the entire hour! I guess the rest of the state dosent rate as high as you guys down there! I wouldn’t mind missing my show so much if we got the same courtesy as the twin cities does! Sorry, I am just really upset about this and I have been for years, but I also know that nothing will be done about it. So, life goes on!
