Health Clinic Opens In Anoka County Courthouse
ANOKA, Minn. (AP) -- Basic health care just got more convenient for employees at the Anoka County Courthouse.
HealthPartners of Bloomington opened a clinic at the courthouse Monday which will be staffed by a nurse practitioner. It will offer preventive and acute care, along with some lab services.
It's the fifth on-site-employer clinic HealthPartners has opened since 2005, but the first in nearly three years. Director of worksite health, John Hansen, tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press that the company gave presentations to about 25 to 30 employers in 2010 about on-site clinics.
That's about twice the number given the previous year.
