MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The last game I attended it snowed. That was two weeks ago.

Last night there were 80+ degree temperatures, tornado sirens and ice chunks falling from the sky.

The weather served as an eerie metaphor of the season so far.

There were far more cheers for the grounds crew then there were for the team last night.

I’m still hopeful the metaphor continues and there’s a big clean up coming the Twins way.

Clean up? The only clean up they need is in the front office. It’s tradition with all professional MN sports teams. The metaphor is the other 3 teams tanked and the Twins are following suit. Wild didn’t finish last but tanked the last month + of the season. Vikings finished last. Timberwolves finished last, it’s the Twins turn now. I understand you’re opptimistic but you need to be realistic.

    Boiling Over,

I will be realistic you can’t measure a season that has 162 games by the first 35.

Here is a reality check: Most of Minnesotans are FAIR WEATHER FANS! If the twins win they are the best team in the league and when they lose it’s fire the front office, close the stadium, or move the team. Why don’t you move to North Dakota and cheer for their professional sports teams.

    Al,

I see you haven’t changed your mind on Gardenhire!

Johnny, you must be new to sports. Here’s a pro tip: it’s OK to criticize the team. Relax. Maybe it’s you that needs to step away for a bit, you seem angry.
