Mudslide Causes Maple Grove Road Closure

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Hennepin County Transportation Department has issued an emergency closure of Bottineau Boulevard in Maple Grove, Minn., from 93rd Avenue North to Fernbrook Lane due to a mudslide caused by the weekend’s heavy rains.

Crews are working to remove the mudslide so that, by this evening, one lane in each direction will be open.

Residents are encouraged to find alternate routes.
