Weezer Rounds Out State Fair Grandstand Lineup

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (AP) – The Minnesota State Fair has confirmed the final two shows for its 2011 Grandstand Concert Series.

The Carnival of Madness Tour 2011 will stop at the Grandstand on Aug. 28. Acts include Theory of a Deadman, Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, My Darkest Days, Adelitas Way and Emphatic. Tickets are $30 and $35 and go on sale Friday at noon.

Weezer will appear Sept. 3. Tickets are $35 and go on sale June 10 at noon. An opening act will be added later.

Tickets for all other shows in the Grandstand lineup are now on sale. Performers include country star Reba McEntire with Ronnie Dunn on Aug. 25, rockers Def Leppard and Heart on Aug. 26, and “A Prairie Home Companion” with Garrison Keillor on Sept. 2.
