MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Residents and city officials are celebrating the 90th anniversary of Victory Memorial Drive Saturday with a dedication, flyover, live music, exhibits of war artifacts and machinery.

Victory Memorial Drive got a recent makeover to highlight the celebration.

The memorial honors local residents who fought and gave their lives in service during World War I. Check out the video to see what new work has been done to the site.

A very fitting tribute to the men that fought in that horrible war, so long ago. It’s almost been forgotten by many, and all military personnel that fought for our country should be remembered, honored and thanked for what they’ve done.

Hey, I thought we had a budget issue in the State of MN?? What is this makeover nonsense!
