CHASKA, Minn. (WCCO) – Chaska Police arrested a man recently for driving drunk while a child passenger was also in the vehicle, according to the department’s weekly newsletter.
Police said the male driver had crashed his vehicle into a pole in a parking lot on Columbia Court. The incident was reported to police, who responded to the scene.
When they arrived, they found a man intoxicated with a child inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. The man was charged with third-degree DWI, child endangerment, driving after suspension and no motor vehicle insurance.
The incident remains under investigation, and police have not released the man’s name.
