MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Walker Art Center is celebrating movies made in Minnesota next month.
The Walker and the Minnesota Film and TV Board present “Location: MN” the weekend of July 14-17.
Prince’s “Purple Rain,” the Coen brothers’ “Fargo” and Kevin Smith’s “Mallrats” are among the films being showcased.
Other Minnesota-made films featured that weekend include Ali Selim’s “Sweet Land,” David Burton Morris’ “Purple Haze” and Sam Raimi’s “A Simple Plan.”

Wish that some movies made in Faribault were on the list such as Grumpy Old Men and Mighty Ducks.
for sure, those are great movies…granted all the other Mighty Duck movies sucked but the first was great
