Farmers Union Renewable Energy Experts To Morris
MORRIS, Minn. (AP) -- The National Farmers Union is bringing its Renewable Energy Tour to the Morris campus of the University of Minnesota.
Farmers Union and other experts will speak Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Room 109, the "Cow Palace" classroom of the Imholte Building.
NFU President Roger Johnson says it's an educational opportunity for family farmers and ranchers to see what others like them are doing to take advantage of increased demand for renewable energy, including the opportunities for additional income
Minnesota Farmers Union President Doug Peterson says the event will showcase everything the state has to offer in renewable energy. He says it will give people a chance to tell their renewable energy stories as well as learn from others
