Winona Woman Dies After 3-Story Fall In May
WINONA, Minn. (AP) -- An 82-year-old Winona woman who survived a three-story fall from her apartment window in May has died.
KAGE-AM reports a memorial service for Betty Haedtke will be held Monday at First Lutheran Church in Minnesota City.
The funeral announcement sent to the station says Haedtke died last Friday.
On May 31, Haedtke fell from a from a third story window in the Winona Arms Apartments and on to several potted plants. She was found conscious, but disoriented.
Headtke was sent to Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester where she was treated for her injuries.
