Cravaack Is Starting His Run For Re-Election Early

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Congressman Chip Cravaack says attack ads are pressuring him to begin running for re-election.

The Republican from Lindstrom tells the Duluth News Tribune he put his team together earlier than anticipated because he’s the main target of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Cravaack campaign says it’s already raised about $350,000.

For the DFL, Tarryl Clark, Jeff Anderson and Rick Nolan have announced they’ll run for Cravaack’s seat.

Cravaack also says his wife and kids plan to buy a house in New Hampshire. Cravaack says his wife often spends three days a week in the Boston area for her work with a medical supply company.

He plans to move to North Branch. Cravaack said he’ll spend most Saturdays in the 8th District and his Sundays in New Hampshire.

If the district wishes to vote for a carpetbagger they will have plenty of choices. Chip will have a legal residence here while his family lives in another state. Clark will have a legal residence and live elsewhere. We need to get rid of those kinds of politicians.

I like the mindless attack dogs the liberals use.

They represent the essence of the Democratic party.
