MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Former Minnesota Gopher quarterback Adam Weber has landed a job, at least temporarily, with an NFL team.
Weber, who holds virtually every passing record at the University of Minnesota, signed with the Denver Broncos on Tuesday. Weber was not picked in the NFL draft and signed as an undrafted free agent.
He joins his former teammate, Eric Decker, who was drafted by the Broncos last year. Weber spent part of the summer working out at the U of M with Minnesota native Larry Fitzgerald Jr.
Weber wasn’t the only Gopher to land with a team on Tuesday. Fullback John Hoese signed as an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers.
