PINE CITY (WCCO) — A 35-year-old man has been arrested in Houston, Texas in connection to the 2006 death of a 10-year-old girl in Hinckley, Minn., the Pine County Sheriff’s office announced Friday.

Ti-Heim Darrien Coston will be extradited back to Minnesota to face three charges of theft by false representation, one count of criminal neglect and one count of failure to report, resulting in death.

According to the criminal complaint, Lakesha Victor died from pneumonia, cachexia and dehydration. When she died, she was just 31 pounds. Coston was Victor’s caretaker.

Victor’s mother, Ludusky Sue Hotchkiss, 30, was sentenced to four years in prison for manslaughter and is currently doing prison time.
