Robbinsdale Man Sentenced In Child Porn Case

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 53-year-old Robbinsdale man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison in Minneapolis Federal Court on Friday in connection with a case where he possessed more than 2,500 images of child pornography.

Bradley Allen Cornelius, who is currently in custody on another count of criminal sexual conduct, was sentenced on one count of child pornography. A judge has also ordered Cornelius to serve 25 years of supervised release following his term in federal prison.

He was indicted on the charge on Dec. 14, 2009, and pleaded guilty on April 21. In the plea agreement, Cornelius admitted that on May 14, 2009, he had images on his computer, on CDs, DVDs and some printed images of children, many under the age of 12, engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Cornelius had been previously convicted in 1996 for first-degree criminal sexual conduct in Hennepin County District Court.
